A little bit about the booking process:
I typically open my books for new tattoo requests twice a year, although touch ups and ongoing projects can rebook anytime. Booking updates are available here or on instagram.
I charge $160 an hour and have a $100 minimum, and require $100 non-refundable deposits for all tattoo appointments. If the tattoo requires multiple sessions the deposit with rolled over to the following appointments and taken off during our last session.
You can find me at Brickview Tattoo in Oconomowoc, WI.
Subject matter/THE STYLE I WORK IN:
While I work on tattoos of all sizes, I always gravitate towards large scale project like backs, sleeves, etc. I like bold imagery that can be read from a distance (nothing too small or fine-lined).
Florals/botanicals
Animals/insects
Geometric/ornamental
Art deco & art nouveau shapes, forms and patterns
Dark+creepy things, sci-fi/space imagery, retro floral textile patters
Color and blackwork
WHAT HAPPENS after i submit my request?
It usually takes me a few weeks to respond to the requests. I appreciate your patience so much while I work on emails, as tattooing and in-shop work always comes before I can set aside time for emailing. I try my best to respond to as many as I can, but unfortunately I’m not always able to. If you don’t hear back from me it’s not because I don’t like your idea, I have just run out of room in my schedule for more appointments. You are more than welcome to send another email during the next booking round.
How should i prepare for my appOintment?
Be sure to bring your state-issued ID. You must be 18+ to get tattooed in Wisconsin.
If you feel sick, please reschedule your appointment.
You can bring one guest along to your appointment.
Please eat before your appointment and feel free to bring a snack/beverage to avoid blood sugar drops during our session.
If you need to reschedule the appointment, it must be done 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.
Please avoid excessive sun exposure in the week(s) prior to your appointment. If you have a sunburn or are peeling from a burn/tan in the area where the tattoo will be applied, we will have to reschedule your appointment.
If you are planning on going camping in the two weeks following your tattoo appointment, please reschedule.
Swimming is a no-go until your tattoo is healed, so keep that in mind when scheduling summer appointments.
I do not send out drawings in advance, so it is important that you are clear and concise about what you’d like tattooed. We do have time during the appointment to make any needed adjustments to the drawing.
If you have changed your concept before your appointment (like if we originally booked a landscape scene and you now want to change it to be a pet portrait), I need to know as soon as possible, and it must be at least a week ahead of time. If it’s something that no longer fits with my style, the appointment may be canceled.
